Cailey is a Registered Massage Therapist with an infant massage instructor certification from the International Association of Infant Massage.

Morning Peak Pose

Following a 'peak pose' format, this morning series will focus on flexibility. Over the course of 4 weeks, students will have the opportunity to gradually build the knowledge and space in the body to safely attempt Full Splits, King Pigeon, Wheel and its variations, and Compass Pose. Working towards the goal of the peak pose will give direction to the practices, but students are welcome to enjoy the practice for the benefits in strength and flexibility without attempting the peak pose if they so choose. Some experience with yoga will help, but intensity will be low to moderate. Curious beginners are welcome. NOTE: The series starts on a Tuesday because Monday the 9th is.a holiday and the studio will be closed.

Pilates is a method of training strength in the body that focuses on breathing and precision of movement. Focus will be particularly on muscles that support the core and proper posture. The basic level exercises will be introduced progressively with time for questions and special attention to alignment. Each student will work within their own limits since the exercises are adaptable to all strength and experience levels. We will discuss basic anatomy and proper technique as we learn and do the exercises on which more difficult variations can be built.

Yamuna Body Rolling (YBR) is an original fitness and therapy practice that was created by Yamuna Zake and combines healing, wellness, and injury prevention in one workout. YBR heals body problems and at the same time helps you get in shape.

YBR is essentially self-massage. With balls of various sizes and firmness, you use your body weight and small movements to release tension from your neck, back, leg muscles and more. This unique approach to body fitness combines direct bone stimulation, elongation and alignment of muscles, immediate feedback of where we are stuck and creates a feeling of spaciousness in our joints. We will use various sizes and densities of balls to knead out tightness and teach you routines.

Suitable for all stages of pregnancy, these classes incorporate practices that are intended to be transformational, designed to enhance the path of self-discovery and to empower and support mama’s-to-be as they prepare for labour and the miracle of child birth. These classes celebrate the female body, and honour the consciousness of baby in utero. Babies benefit from these classes too, as we imprint them with the love, movement, breath, bonding, community and healing we foster in class. No prior yoga experience is necessary.
