Learning to meditate with the intention of keeping up a regular practice is invaluable.
Meditation teaches us how to focus on the present moment and become aware of our chronic tendencies to fixate on the past and future – a habit that can bring on depression, anxiety and other challenging experiences. Meditation can help us let go and learn to better ride the inevitable waves of life.
Please join Dawn Collins in this 4-part meditation workshop and practicum. You will learn the fundamentals of meditation, do’s and don’ts, including strategies such as breath work to assist with a more successful meditation experience.
After learning the ins and outs of how to meditate, a practicum will follow where you can apply what you’ve learned with extended practice time in the safe and open environment that is Taiga.
