Join Bronwyn Rorke for a Taiga Summer Retreat focused on Shamatha meditation.

Shamatha is the practice of attending continuously to a familiar object, without forgetfulness or distraction, to develop your skill of attention.

Few things affect our lives more than our faculty of attention. If we can’t focus our attention due to either agitation of dullness, we cant do anything well. Clearly, if we were to enhance our faculty of attention, our lives would improve dramatically.

Three days of meditation, communal practice sessions, yoga and Qi gong, right in our own Yellowknife backyard!
