Favourite Yoga Posture: If I had to choose, it would be Tree Pose (Vrksasana

Tell us about your yoga journey:  “My Yoga Journey started two yearsago. While doing gentle fitness exercises at home, I felt I needed more than what I was doing so I started doing some Yoga routines, which I found on the net, on top of the fitness exercises. I really enjoyed it and at a point, I felt ready for the real thing. I made that “scary move” of going into a Yoga Studio full of “real” Yoga Practitioners. Taiga Yoga was my choice and I still feel it was a good one. I started going once in a while using a punch pass. And later in the fall there was the Taiga Yoga Challenge of doing 21 sessions of Yoga in 21 days. I opted for a month pass and dove into a marvellous 3 weeks of discovery.To succeed, I had to experiment with all kinds of Yoga offered at Taiga. Realizing how good I felt in my body and mind while doing this, I got hooked. Since then I still do at least 5 sessions a week of all kinds.

We are lucky to have this Studio that offers such a wide range of Yoga practices in the same place. I like all Yoga Postures and the further I go in my journey, the more I love them. If I had to pick only one, I would choose Vrksasana (Tree Posture) with my “branches” extended while looking to the sky.”
