Linda Kalbun

This 75 minute class presents a series of gentle mat-based postures aimed at increasing comfortable movement and flexibility with a focus on relaxation, breathing and mindfulness. Postures are modified to accommodate limitations. The first 45 minutes of class focuses on postures and breathing with the last 30 minutes focusing on yoga nidra, a deep relaxing meditation. This class is perfect for anyone new to yoga, those recovering from injuries, those with ongoing limitations or anyone who would like to slow down and relax.

Linda began practicing yoga in 2008 at Taiga Yoga and quickly became a regular there as she realized the benefits of yoga in developing strength, balance and flexibility.  Long a believer in the integration of body and mind, Linda became curious about learning more about the scope and philosophy of yoga.  As a result, she decided to take the 200-hour Hatha yoga teacher training at Rama Lotus in Ottawa which she completed in 2013.

Join us for 4 weeks of Yamuna Body Rolling. Yamuna Body Rolling is a self-massage,  muscle stretching, strengthening & toning routine and SO much more!  As we roll out our bodies on 6”–10” inflatable balls you will be stimulating bone, elongating  tendons, stretching muscles, freeing  restrictions in all parts of the body, increasing  circulation, flushing  the system with fresh blood and moving metabolic waste.

Yamuna Body Rolling is a workout, massage and therapy treatment all in one.  And the best part is – once you learn the routines you will have the knowledge and ability to roll whenever & wherever you like - and it feels fantastic!
